Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor from America. Her most well-known character was that of Skyler in the drama series of AMC, Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Awards to recognize Outstanding Supporting Performance in Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. She played Jean Ward and Martha Bullock and Martha Bullock, respectively, on The Practice. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and was awed by acting when she was in the Preparatory School. The late 1970s, the family moved to Ohio. She attended theatre classes at Northwestern University and spent a semester in the British American Drama Academy. Anna spent a few seasons in Chicago theater before transitioning to TV and film roles. Anna was cast as Arden on Down the Shore in the 29-episode show Down the Shore. Anna continued to be guest stars on a handful of TV movies and shows like Seinfeld and NYPD Blue until the late 90's when she was cast in a recurring role as Jean Ward in The Practice. Martha Bullock played two full seasons in Deadwood and was filming between 2000 and 2001. Skyler is the character she played in her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully in addition to Deadwood was a different film that she appeared in. Gunn has also appeared on stage in David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers. She also appeared in the podcast audio drama of four episodes called Numbered Days, which was launched in 2022. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The drama's tension and final ending mirrors the last years in the story of Walter White.
